Sebastiano Garroni (Secretary – deputy)

Sebastiano Garroni (Secretary - deputy) is a research scientist, working at Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Sassari, with nearly 10 years research experience in synthesis and advanced structural characterization of functional materials for energy storage and conversion. He is author and coauthors of more than 110 publications on peer-reviewed and he contributed with oral presentation to several international conferences (including invited and plenary). He has also coordinated national and international projects focused on the study of lead-free piezoceramics and generation of new green fuels. He was granted with a MSCA Individual Fellowship (IF) for the study of novel piezoceramics materials for biomedical applications. In 2021 he organized the international conference PIEZO2021: Piezoelectrics for End Users XI.
