Pascal Marchet (Expert)
Pascal Marchet (Expert) obtained obtained a PhD in ceramic materials from the University of Limoges in 1992. Then, he holds a position of senior lecturer in this university. He obtained the “habilitation à diriger des recherches” in 2004 and became associated professor at the University of Limoges in the Institute of Research in Ceramics (IRCER). His research is focused on processing of lead-free perovskite materials for electroceramics applications, including structure – properties relationships, synthesis and characterization of powders and ceramics, thin and thick films. He his author or co-author of more than 80 scientific publications. He has been involved in several national projects devoted to lead-free materials (ANR Hypercampus and Hecate) and several EU networks (COST 539 ELENA, COST MP0904 SIMUFER, FAME-NOE, H2020 Masters). He was the chairman of Electroceramics XV conference, Limoges 2016. He is currently the group leader of the Electroceramic network of the European Ceramic Society and was awarded as fellow of E-CerS in 2019.
