Danjela Kuscer (Expert)
Danjela Kuscer (Expert) received a PhD in Material Science from the University of Ljubljana in 1999. She is a senior researcher at the Jožef Stefan Institute, Electronic Ceramics Department and associate professor at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Her research is focused on processing of ceramic materials for electronics including synthesis and characterization of powders and bulk ceramic, formulation of dispersions and patterning of thick-film structures by screen printing, inkjet printing and electrophoretic deposition, and structural and microstructural characterization of ceramic and thick films. She is an author or a co-author of over 130 scientific publications, more than 150 technical reports, 1 national patent, 5 international patents, and 1 PCT patent application. She has been involved in many EU, bilateral and national research projects and was a member of the organising committee of international conferences. Since 2011 she is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal Informacije MIDEM. She is a member of association MIDEM, Slovenian Chemical Society and International Society of Electrochemistry. She was awarded Puh recognition (2015), most important Slovenian science award for important applied work, recognitions by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for the innovation in the filed of ceramic material (2014, 2015 and 2016), and award Excellent in Science, field technology (2016) by Slovenian Research Agency.
